Our team

One family, and the hands that work beside them.

Nobody here is a job title on an org chart. The same people who plant the seed dig the harvest, dry it, grind it, seal the packet and answer the phone when it rings.

The name over our gate

DK is not a brand. It is two people.

D Late Sh. · Our grandfather Dharam Singh Chambial

He is the reason there is land to farm at all. The mango trees our haldi grows under were his, and so was the decision never to spray them — taken in years when spraying was cheaper, faster and what everybody else was doing.

K Our grandmother Kamla Devi Chambial

She set the standard everything after the harvest still answers to. Cleaned by hand, dried properly, and nothing packed that she would not have put on her own family’s plate. The rule we quote on every page is hers.

“Every packet that leaves this farm carries their initials. That is the whole reason we are careful about what goes in it.”

The next generation

Three brothers, and the elders who still call the timing.

Between us we handle everything after the harvest. One number reaches all of us, so you never have to work out who to ask for.

Runs the fields day to day — planting, weeding, irrigation and harvest timing. If you want to know how something was actually grown, he can tell you.

Harsh Chambial

Looks after how the farm is presented — packaging, photographs, and everything you are reading here. Most of what you see of us passed through him first.

Vivek Chambial

Handles orders, pricing and supply, from a single packet to a standing monthly quantity. If you are buying, he is the one who works it out.

The last word on timing

Our elders

They kept these fields clean the hard way through every season when spraying was cheaper. They still decide when the haldi is ready to come out of the ground, and we have learned not to argue.

One number reaches the whole farm

Call or message and you will get one of us, not a call centre. Mornings are best if you want somebody standing in the field while they answer you.

Alongside us

The hands that work with us.

A farm run this way needs more hands than one family has. The people who weed, dig, turn the drying beds and pack alongside us are from villages around the farm, and the work is the same for all of us.

Come and see

Visitors are welcome, by arrangement.

We have no certificate on the wall. What we have is a farm you can walk through and a family who will show you around it.
